Making this candlestick for Årsta parish was a great project that allowed me to work with granite, a stone that is more than 2 millions years old. I wanted to do something diffrent from the common candlesticks that you see in almost every Swedish church, something simple and beautiful but also something that harmonize with the interior and exterior architecture that was created by Johan Celsing.
